Hello Everyone.

My name is John Dickie, and I currently split my time between St. Augustine
Florida and Baltimore, Maryland doing graphic design over the internet. With
a laptop and an internet connection, I can work from anywhere really. I¹m
also a musician and I enjoy getting into new adventures whenever possible.

I¹ve been motorcycling for almost 20 years, and I've done several long
distance trips full of great memories.

This is part of a dream that I have had for a while, so I¹m glad to finally
get on board for the Alaska trip. I wanted to go last year, but the
financial situation didn¹t allow it. I'm not sure if it does this year, but
I'm not getting any younger either.

My plan is to leave St. Augustine on the morning of 7/18 and catch up in
Memphis. Ringo Starr is playing here the night before, and how many chances
does anyone get to see a surviving Beatle, right?

From there I will ride with everyone to Kansas City, then head west through
Kansas and Colorado, finally reuniting in Glacier on Friday 7/23. I'll be
with everyone up to Hyder and back down, possibly further once we get back
in the states.

I'm a rabid Motel 6 fan and very easy to get along with, so if anyone is
looking for a roommate, just let me know. I'll be carrying camping gear too,
so that's always an option if we get to a destination before the wolves come
out.

My current motorcycle for this trip will be a 2002 BMW R1150RS. I look
forward to meeting everyone and having some great new experiences.
